From a UK , European & North American perspective , the initial volume of instruments destined for China represents a substantial new growth opportunity . As this market matures it is projected to deliver a material uplift to Tanglewood’s global manufacturing footprint building upon our brands established success.
Three , stylised, city centre physical Tanglewood branded public showrooms are planned strategically across the country to create enquiries engage with music educators and pass across consumer sales opportunities for 400 dedicated and independent Tanglewood retail outlets regionally who will operate on a national level by Q3 2027.
Online channel Tanglewood stores operating across every major Chinese internet platform will be linked for sales to every regional independent retailer geographically and operational by Q4 2026 and this foundation will be supported by a network of 300 key opinion leaders, or influencers who are currently creating marketing content to be rolled out online to create brand interest and educate consumers that Britains biggest selling acoustic guitar brand is now officially available in China.
The availability of Tanglewood guitars officially on a national scale in China with uniquely authorised, anti counterfeit identifiers on every instrument will quickly educate Chinese consumers about our brand values and elevate their buying experience ensuring they receive a Tanglewood product as it is meant to be, and only from official, invested, appointed retail outlets.
China will debut the Tanglewood Zodiac and Galaxy Moonfall series of instruments exclusively for Chinese consumers in Q3 2026 and expect sales volumes to initially peak in three high public density consumer provinces, namely Shandong, Jiangsu & Fujian, geographical areas where the demographic excels in higher education, music education and purchasing power.
Localised MI trade and retail shows along with Music Festival shows are scheduled to begin in Q3 2026 with various partner programs at Music China Shanghai next month.
